Additions to the Town

Status

SmithyI’m going to be adding some various structures to the town around the castle. The first one I’ve done is a Smithy. Any thoughts on what else might fit? (I mean with the subject. I’ll figure ways to put it into the graphic myself.)

To Be or Notinhood To Be

03notIn the process of searching for something else, I discovered that I had inadvertently left out one cartoon strip that I had done. It would fit between “The Hunt!” and “A Nice Ring to It“. The cartoon is one of “The Gnomestead Tapestry” called “Notinhood!” I have 007NewDancers“The New Dancers” ready for upcoming release, but was wondering if I should follow the 9 post comic, “The New Dancers”, with the similar 7-12 post comic “Notinhood!”?

I would of course be interspersing the longer stories with shorts and other material.

I am tempted to just follow “The New Dancers” with “Notinhood!” just so that you might get some of the background material that is missing due to the missing strip.

If you want you can voice your opinion.

New Castle Graphic

Test 1100I just thought I would share a bit of experimental work I was doing to develop more of the village around the castle. It did involve paving the grounds and putting various buildings. I hope the experiment was a good one… I like it for some reasons, but do have some more critical feelings about it. I am not sure how soon it might be that I would use it.

Oh, That Yellow Brick Road! — The Gnomestead Tapestry

A Gnomestead Tapestry Short, looking forward to Summer:

Once again Sir Biff is the central character. People in the South Cringle Archduchies suspect perhaps his helmet is too tightly padded.

I hope you enjoy this and share it around!

Thanks!

Coming Up in the Tapestry

Hi!

Next month keep your eyes out for a new story in “The Gnomestead Tapestry”.

“The New Dancers!”

1, 2, 3, The Tapestry I See! — Gnorman’s Ark: Animal Alphabet — The Gnomestead Tapestry

The fourth of The Gnomestead Tapestry children’s stories. Part 2 of 2

This time we go through an animal alphabet. I posted “A – M” yesterday — today I’m posting “N – Z”.

I hadn’t realized how hard it would be to find the 26 animals for the alphabet. I wanted to keep from going too exotic and tried keep the choices in line with the South Cringle Archduchies. A few only fit considering the “lost” elephant. “X” and “Y” among other letters were particularly challenging. The xantis is a type of yak, found in Africa while of course the yak is a yak.

I hope you enjoy it and will share it with your friends, relatives, and colleagues. You needn’t do any ear lending if you don’t want to. Remember if your friends tell friends soon hundreds will have read these.
